Ok, time to knuckle down for the final few weeks….as usual we have lots to do before we are over the line so keep putting in that 100%!
This week ….in rotations-Hotmaths tasks on Percentages, later….we’ll be learning a little about the countries of Africa….bit of a world tour before you leave Year 6….
Hello year 6,
this week we will be looking at the countries of South America.
Hello year 6,
You should all begin work on your project tomorrow. Remember the template for the ppt. is in the shared folder. You can use it ‘as is’ or modify it to add more slides.Use books as well as websites for your information.
Don’t forget…….. the European Countries and Capitals quiz is on next Wednesday afternoon.
How many European countries and their capital cities can you learn and remember? This link might help you but remember, not all of these countries are European. You’ll have to compile your own list.
This link takes you to a interactive site which will help you improve your geographical knowledge.
You could try downloading a map of Europe or use the atlases at school.
Hello Year 6,
This is a a bit late in the year for some of our projects but it might be useful for future reference. It is a site which
helps you to develop your research skills and to help you to understand the steps involved in researching a topic.
Click on this link to see the slideshow that Keegan made about his meeting with the Sydney Football Club members. Well done Keegan, you’ll remember that event for a long time!
Hello Year 6,

(Food again!).I’m off to get a new beach rod tomorrow then I’ll stand on the beach for a few hours and hopefully catch something.Apart from that I’ve been digging holes, carrying bricks and reading..oh, and cooking a bit as well. I hope you are all having a relaxing and enjoyable time Feel free to let us know what you are doing
